Types of ration cards in Bihar State

Bihar State Government provides three Types of Ration cards (बिहार राशन कार्ड), depending on the class of family.

1. APL Ration Card

2. BPL Ration Card

3. AAY Ration card

Ration Card Type	Full form
APL	Above Poverty Line
BPL	Below Poverty Line
AAY	Antyodaya Anna Yojana

Eligibility Criteria of APL Card, BPL Card or AAY Card

Ration Card	Eligibility
APL	Less than Rs 24,000/- Annual income of the family is eligible to apply for the APL Ration Card. (Above Poverty Line)
BPL	The annual income of the family Rs 24,000/- are eligible to apply for APL Ration Card (Below Poverty Line)
AAY	Those Families below the poverty line can apply for AAY Ration cards.

How to Check Bihar Ration Card & Download 2022 (epds.bihar.gov.in)

Step#1 : Go to Bihar Ration Card Official Website epds.bihar.gov.in & open the website on your mobile browser.

Step#2 : After opening the website you can see many options on the left siteber of the website. Such as Home, Login, RC-PRINT, RCMS Report & RC Details.

Step#3 : Click on RCMS Report options.

Step#4 : Then Select Your District Name by using Option and Click on Show button.

Step#5 : Now you can see the total number of All types of ration cards in your district. 

Step#6 : Then click on the Rural or Urban Number of this list. If you're a Rural(Village) person, click on Rural Number; if you're an Urban(City) living person, click on Urban Number.

Step#7 : Then Click on Your Block Name from the list.

Step#8 : Then Click on Panchayat.

Step#9 : Click on Your Village.

Step#10 : Now all Ration cards of Your Village are available on the website, Find your Name on this list then click on Ration Card Number.

Step#11 : Finally You can see your family's Ration card and to download the Ration card click on Print and save the PDF File of the Ration card.
